Inclement Weather Policies
Individual Tutoring Session
In the event of inclement weather (snow, sleet, hail, flooding, tornado, hurricane, severe thunderstorm) we will leave it up to the discretion of the family and tutor as to whether or not a lesson will be held.
When there is inclement weather, tutors and families may email info@smithstreetworkshop.com on lesson days if they wish to cancel the lesson, and so at least 3 hours prior to the session in order for us to contact both parties.
Small Group Session and Group Classes
In the event of inclement weather (snow, sleet, hail, flooding, tornado, hurricane, severe thunderstorm), Smith Street Workshop reserves the right to cancel the class. In a case of cancellation, families and tutors will be contacted via email at least 2 hours prior to the start of the class. Please note that in the (very rare) case of group class cancellations, there will be no make-ups or refunds
